The proposed rule to allow the formation of Natural Asset Corporations directly undermines our country's founding principle of private property. The proposal advances the usurpation of natural resources by powerful entities in the name of climate protection, the attainment of which is dubious, while the result of taking land out of production will most certainly cause privation and misery to our citizens. Furthermore, the proposal violates established accounting principles. For these reasons I oppose the formation of NACs.
