I am strongly opposed to allowing National Asset Companies to be traded on the exchange market Our nation's farmlands are essential for our country to be self-sufficient in providing food for ourselves and other nations. To remove our nation's land from individual citizens' opportunity to own and use land is detrimental to the welfare and stability of individuals and families. Please do not allow our "land of the free" to be bought and sold as a commodity on the international market. It would only benefit the wealthy elite, and harm the average U.S. citizen, who would be priced out of the ability to own land and provide for their families as envisioned by our Founding Fathers.
