The federal government already allows foreign entities to buy land in this county, though in many countries this isn't allowed. Now the SEC proposes that Individuals will be able to stockpile land to no benefit of the tax base or any other purpose. This is obviously a bad idea for the populous and states that rely on revenue from already reduced land that the federal government has taken off the rolls.
