I oppose this rule in its entirety. Lands should be subject at the most to the state in which they are located. It’s bad enough the federal government of the United States has taken so much. Now this administration is willing to cede its control of those lands to these farcical companies that can even be owned by governments who wish to end the United States. Leave the control of land to the United States. Do not allow private entities to control the most important natural asset we have of which no more is being made: our land. This rule smells like a sure path to very bad things.
