I find it alarming that the SEC would consider allowing wealthy investors to use the market to buy up land in the United States that should be owned by, or open to use by, farmers, ranchers,hunters, campers, fishermen, recreational users,miners, oil and gas producers, and others who will allow better stewardship of United States citizens of ordinary means. This cannot be good for Americans, and could lead to an oligarchy controlling most of our nation's land for their own enrichment or to accumulate power without any representation by our elected officials. It could even open our land and much of our territory to become controlled by foreign investors from countries who are our stated enemies. I emphatically urge you to reject this dangerous and potentially tyrannical proposal!
