Hello,
I am a shareholder of the spac (PSTH) run by Bill Ackman. Recently Mr.Ackman proposed to change the rules of a spac so that it no longer requires locking the capital of investors in order to pursue a IBM.
I think it alligns the sponsor more with its investors, since he would need to offer a good deal in order to get the money needed to close the transaction. I would appreciate this change with my recent experience as a SPAC shareholder, there is too many ways for individual investors to lose time/money with the current structure of a SPAC, but the sponsor has limited downside, the structure of a SPARC would fix these concerns that me and other individual investors have.
