I vehemently oppose this ruling as a retail investor. It must be withdrawn to preserve market fairness and legitimate price discovery, this goes against all principles of free market capitalism and is designed to give a privileged few an unfair advantage over the many. This ruling in fact indicates that a kind of financial oligarchy exists in the United States, who are treated like a protected species that should have special rules to shelter them from any serious financial loss while the rest of us are expected to accept that we could become penniless and homeless with nowhere near the government protection and financial assistance these oligarchs receive if we make the wrong decisions with our investments in financial markets.
