To whom it may concern,

This email is in regards to SR-NSCC-2022-003 rule which is being considered. As a retail investor I believe this rule does not benefit all market stakeholders in a proportional manner. As a young investor looking to invest in growing companies to protect my capital, and propel company missions that I believe in like green energy, sustainable food projects and tech. This rule would exacerbate the naked short selling and holding short positions for long term in the market. Shorting isn’t NOT an investment strategies it’s a gamble that a company will fail.
This SFT system will only be used by non retail investors, this rule in a similar fashion was rejected twice already. From what I can understand non of the overarching issues that it would cause has been changed. If this rule is passed I will find other exchanges for my earned assets outside of the SEC. Thank you for taking the time to read this, please feel free to quote me on any of this.

Sincerely,

Retail investor
Brett Dillman
