As a retail investor I do not support this new proposal as it decriminalize all of the market makers illegal activities regarding share lending and naked shorting. This rule basically gives them no repercussions for their illegal actions. They should stand accountable for their crimes and with this proposal you’re actively saying it’s okey to continue with illegal activities and it’s a huge threat to the open market. I do not want this proposal implemented. Sincerely, retail investor.
