This rule seems like it will have the effect of easing the pressure on short positions to buy shares from the market. This directly harms the rest of us who are buying and holding. When someone bets on big failures, they have to pay when they're wrong. We cannot allow shorts to exist in permanent limbo, hoping/waiting for the price to drop. Whitaker Brand
