The fact that this is even being proposed in 2022 is extremely concerning. We already lack transparency in our markets, how in the world do you look at this proposal and think it does anything but provide yet another layer of shade cloth to the bad actors that already RUN and CONTROL our markets? This rule would be yet another nail in the ‘retail investor’ coffin. And if this passes, it will be contested and it will light a fire under retail activist investors butts. I wholeheartedly DO NOT support this proposal on grounds of common deceny for the common man.
