You guys have to be joking with this proposal. Completely gives leeway for those who have made bad bets and have manipulated the market with predatory lending and short selling techniques. Why do these institutions and funds get a free pass while retail is always on the wrong end? Can we work on making the markets actually free, meaning for everyone not just the biggest players. Seriously reading this proposal is so disheartening as a retail investor and as an American. The inequality in finance is one of the reasons our country’s people and the people of earth find themselves so miserable without any hope for better in life. Aren’t these bigger players rich enough? Will they ever have to pay up for being on the wrong side of a trade? It’s ridiculous. Completely against this proposal as any sane investor who wants integrity and fairness in the markets would. We are begging you guys to look out for us instead of the big players making our markets essentially a casino for their own benefit. You are all fortunate the average American doesn’t have a grasp of what’s going on here. Have a good day
