NO on SR-NSCC-2022-003. "Free and fair" goes out the window of the market if this is passed.

Imagine a world where your stepmom needs a repair on her sink. The repairman comes over with the intention to repair the sink. We all know what happens here, he greets her and walks in the door and business as usual goes business casual. He wraps up and calls it a day after checking if any leaks are getting your stepmom wet after use. Well, not only does the sink remain unusable, but she is left with a mess to clean and Mr. Repairman is gone with the wind. He left her with the invoice and no actual repair.

Your stepmom seems to be satisfied since he promised to deliver the parts required and will return with the tools necessary to provide the service his business specializes in. He never made the order for the parts and never comes back over but keeps promising your poor stepmom a repair tomorrow. The mess is too much to clean on her own without his help. This is not fair for your stepmom.

All this time you were hiding under the blanket in the corner watching wide-eyed, shaking with concern at the sheer fact that what you witnessed is considered fair in the eyes of most repairmen everywhere. You jump up trying to wake your tired stepmom to help her yet you slip and fall into the wet, sticky mess left by the repairman. What to do? Hold him accountable? Or allow him to do as he pleases again and again, failing to deliver the parts and provide the service he claims to specialize in AND clean the mess he made which you are now covered in?

This scenario may seem all too familiar with you so I'm sure it sounds ridiculous to not hold the repairman accountable! Now that I've got your attention, NO on SR-NSCC-2022-003.
