I am deeply troubled by what appears to be a last-minute attempt to rescue over-leveraged short-sellers from their obligations.
If this maneuver succeeds, it will be final proof to me that the stock market is essentially legalized racketeering, and as such I will withdraw all investments in the US financial system and take my chances elsewhere. I am certain there are countless others who see this the same way, and who would respond similarly.
This shady backdoor escape for over-leveraged hedge funds must be denied for there to remain any semblance of fair play in these markets. Please and thank you, good day.
