I am a retail investor and I believe after reading this rule that it is not for retails safety as claimed in this rule. Its obvious that its for the safety to protect banks, hedge funds, and institutions when they make bad bets. This rules allows for them to continue there bad bets without consequences. I oppose this rule and am tied of these type of rules coming out to protect institutions and hedge funds. They do nothing for retail. We can lose everything when we get margin called but they lose nothing. Especially with rules like this.
