I do not see this filling as a benefit for retail investors because it gives big institutes a scape goat to avoid their bad bets and also shows that they can avoid margin requirements because they can create synthetic shares to counteract they naked short position when they have to cover I feel though the sec and Gary gensler should really look into this filing and honestly in the best interest of retail I think this filing should not pass at all because if it does it shows that regulators will allow big institutes to do whatever they want and avoid crimes I really hope the sec does pass the rule and shows that they will not take retail as people who dont know whats really going on in this system.
