This comment is regards to proposed rule change SR-NSCC-2022-003 . This rule is a step backwards, away from a more fair market. We should be eliminating FTD's all together. In a high frequency trading environment, there is no reason why these shouldn't be resolved with in the hour, rather than days it currently takes. This proposed rule change suggests yet another buffer between supply and demand.
If it isn't supply and demand that controls the prices in our markets, than who or what does? Vote this rule down to help keep the market fair.
