As a retail investor, I am in full support of SR-NSCC-2021-801.
The market manipulation that has taken place the past few months has taken its toll on the stock market. Not just in the financial security of individual investors, but in our global standing. Foreign investors are an important component of the US stock market and we need to ensure that they feel their investments are protected from criminal activity and manipulation.
I strongly urge that 801 to be implemented immediately to ensure transparency in the marketplace. It will hopefully limit the ability of hedge funds and stock shorters to drive down the value and price of companies that do have value and are trying to recover from the pandemic.
