To whom it may concern,
I am in full support of this regulation and the greater transparency it will promote. While the DTCC has already made great strides toward larger visibility and accountability of its members, I believe this proposition is paramount to firmly protect our market from institutions who have over-leveraged themselves and believe they are too big to fail. As we have seen with Archegos Capital, this is not true. I believe this regulation will help prevent future catastrophic losses from occurring, and will ensure a healthier market for all of its participants, incusing ordinary retail investors.
