I believe this ruling will provide a much clearer picture of exchange traded funds and securities, prevent rehypothecation, and provide a more transparent view to the public on such issues. The high risk trading done by hedgefunds and market makers is risky, egregious, and exposes the market at large to maximum risk. It needs to be regulated by some sort of federal body or legislation. I just wish we had some sort of gov't body to handle this type of thing.
