I believe that we can all agree that it has been a grave injustice to allow Institutions (Hedge funds) etc... to use naked shorting, synthetic shares, dark pools, and short exempt trading to destroy small companies and rob the small investors for their own enrichment. If these firms are not brought to task, in time, they could bring the market down. They are so entrenched in these tactics that they will continue this practice until they fail. On that day it could be so massive that the selling to cover would effect the whole market.
