I am writing from Germany to support this regulation. The deeper I look into the US financial regulations, the more shocked I am that they allow bad actors in the market to exploit loopholes that I thought were closed all over the world, at the latest after 2008.
My trust in US stocks, exchanges and the entire system depends on sensible regulations, and this is definitely sensible.
So, yes, please enact this long overdue rule.
