I am currently a share holder in a company that I have done extensive research on. I have come to the conclusion, through in-depth analyses of my research, that the company I have invested in is severely over-shorted. Therefore, the current market price of the stock does not reflect the actual value of said company.
The tactics being used by the entities, who continue shorting said company's stock, are being used to manipulate the market. This is fraudulent. Because of this, I believe that the hedge funds responsible for over-shorting this company should be held fully liable for their ongoing actions.
Implementing rule SR-NSCC-2021-801 will help preserve the integrity of the United States stock market, and limit the collateral impact of their behavior. Their actions are intolerable, therefore they must be held accountable.
In short, I support of the immediate enactment of the SR-NSCC-2021-801 rule.
