I am fully in favor of this regulation being passed. Far too long, larger corporations have had almost limitless freedom in manipulating the market in their favor, and this regulation might help to make these corporations a bit more transparent. As a retail investor, it gets old when you invest into a stock that you like and you see short ladder attacks and FTDs just being kicked down the road and the obvious naked shorting that is going on, just so that they can make money on options while the rest of our assets depreciate in value. This regulation would help force them to be a bit more in check and would stop them from basically running the show.
