This rule is necessary! The GME/AMC debacle with Citadel et al is going to ruin the market! Investors are already fleeing to the Chinese markets and dumping money into crypto and NTFs. Unregulated markets will ruin our economy. And by unregulated I mean by rules that are not enforced. Citadel is going to crash the stock market, call their shares and check deposits now before it's too late. Also, we need new regulation to even the playing field for retail investors and to build our country back up from the pandemic. You know that the publicity from unregulated short selling makes our country look bad. And we are going to become Greece if you keep allowing uncontrollable hedge funds to tank the market like this. Use the rules already in place to look at their margin. Every time they try to ladder down in AMC and GME the whole market goes red. In not even taking about the 801 rules now, I'm asking you to get them in check. Don't wait a month, look now. Get the rules in place to be able to intercede before we get another 2008 or soon we will trade in yen not usd. (No offense to Asians, I am against any sort of prejudice, but this is America and we are about to lose our place in the world). If you love America and our beautiful democratic and capitalist system, push all these 801s through and USE THEM! Anon
