Good Morning, I am writing today to express my support of filing SR-NSCC-2021-801. I have been investing in the stock market for the past 25 years. I am also a high school business teacher that has promoted a "Stock Market Game" yearly. It was not until recently that I was made aware how the many players in the stock market affect the market. I have always been under the impression that a good company that has value will rise to the top because of its innovation. I have found this to not always be true. The role the hedge funds play is a dirty one. They are allowed to use extraordinary measures to drive the value of stocks down and even bankrupt the companies. It seems the future of the stock market and our economy is driven by the decisions they make. Many of these decisions have put many peoples' trust in the system and financial accounts in jeopardy. Please restore the integrity by invoking this filing to be effective immediately and exercise all measures to hold institutions accountable for aggressive and greedy manipulation tactics that bankrupted several legitimate businesses and cost retail investors billions of dollars in losses.
