To whom it may concern,
BLUF I support ratification of SR-NSCC-2021–801.
I am a retail investor. In the big scheme of things I am a nobody, but if my opinion counts for anything, I believe that investing should not be a rigged game. Multi billion dollar financial services companies, market makers and hedge funds should not be allowed to manipulate the market under the cloak of secrecy. Technology is available that could allow instantaneous reporting of large financial transactions that affect world wide markets so that the risk to the entire system is lowered to a manageable level.
I support SR-NSCC-2021–801 for 3 reasons:
1) I can’t believe SR-NSCC-2021–801 isn’t already a thing.
2) Transparency will prevent manipulation
3) SR-NSCC-2021–801 will level the playing field and protect the system
