The Exchanges are blinded by greed in their efforts to hold market data for ransom. They do not create or own this data, market participants create and own it, therefore it should be treated as public domain. Wall Street has seen enough scandals in the past several years. Restore some credibility and faith in the institutions by breaking down these greedy monopolies and by giving fair and equal market access to all participants, not just to those who are willing to pay for it.
