I am completely against Nasdaq or any other stock exchange being able to charge fees and to consider the sale of market data to be a revenue-producing product because they are now a for-profit enterprise.
It is important that pricing date be freely and widely available to guarantee free markets work as they should. In no other area is the price of something treated as propriertary data.
