I write in support of Proposed Rule SR-NASD-2007-021.
The "cleansing" of the pool of public arbitrators represented by the Proposed Rule is long overdue and should contribute significantly to both the perceived and actual fairness of SRO arbitration as a venue for resolving customer-member disputes, particularly if the NASD is vigilant in its enforcement of the rule.
