Let me be perfectly clear: NO MORE EXTENSIONS. NO MORE COMMENT PERIODS This rule should have been implemented in 2016. How many times will this need to be re-proposed, then amended, then commented on, then delayed, lather rinse repeat. Tell me with a straight face that FINRA won't be here in six months complaining that May 22, 2024 is just too soon and complying with these changes is just too hard and please can we have another extension and more time to deliberate and comment. No. Enough is enough. Implement the rules. Let FINRA propose new changes to this implemented rule if they so desire, but the can kicking has to stop.
