I believe that this will help level the playing field for all retail investors. I am a retail investor, and use FINRA reports and other sources of information that is not current because of the current monthly reporting of positions. I believe data should be reported accurately and on a timely basis . The fines and fees that the SEC hands out to market makers and hedge funds is pocket change to the offenders who habitually violate policy and procedures in order to misrepresent their positions. I believe this ruling will make the free markets operate smoother and provide retail investors an equal opportunity to be successful in making trade decisions. I am a combat veteran, I pay my taxes and am a law abiding citizen who deserves to have updated and accurate information.
