I strongly urge approval of this proposed deal for the CHX as soon as possible. It has already been approved by the CFIUS, by your own staff, and agreed to by the parties involved. There is zero risk. The delay to this point reeks of politics, in a body that should in theory be free of that. It is time, Chair Clayton, to actually lead. You were hired to lead the SEC, and now it's time to show that you actually have some leadership capabilities, stop shirking your responsibilities, and do the right thing. Approve the CHX deal now No wonder the denizens of DC have such low reputations.
