Dear Sir or Madam,
I write regarding the potential sale of the Chicago Stock Exchange to a Chinese-led investor group. My position on this is to support the sale. I think the sale will have a positive effect for the US economy overall and will foster greater economic ties with China that will benefit our country here. It is essential for the US to increase economic ties that directly help our economy. I believe the ownership by a respected Chinese company will greatly increase direct Chinese investment into our economy, and under the rules and laws of the United States. I have reviewed the backgrounds of the investors and see they are a combination of very strong US and Chinese individuals and entities with great experience in the financial services industry. Therefore and once again, please note my support of the sale and my urging that you approve thusly.
