Dear SEC, Eventually there must come a time where we entrust the future of not only currency and financial markets, but also the well-being of the very world and future of humanity on bitcoin. Truly, it is our first opportunity in the history of our precious and cherished history as human beings to achieve the great promise of a One World Currency. However, as inevitable as this endpoint seems, it remains to be seen as to which organizations will emerge as heroes and economic/financial messiah's by staking their claim in great developing history of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The commission would agree- the dominance of Bitcoin is inevitable. We say this with full awareness of our place in history- we find ourselves in the information age where we have come to rely on information technology to not only coordinate human affairs, but eventually store and give value to the information/communication that governs the entire affairs of humanity. We have seen the dubious hacking, gathering, promoting, selling, and manipulating of this information / communication in its stored and sent as data. Speaking of data and Information Technology, it is important and pivotal that we understand our current trajectory in the course of human history. As aforementioned, we are currently in the information age, where we have decided to live and share our personal and social human experience on the internet. Truly the internet is a raging Inferno that never sleeps, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the internet is accessible and available to human beings. We are constantly transacting on the internet. Our journey into the Information Age and Space has just begun. The future of heavy industry as well as future production may very well be in Space (above Earth's atmosphere, in orbit, lunar scapes, etc). We are looking to colonize the moon, how will we transact financially with lunar bases? Does humanity anticipate sending hordes of paper cash across space and to the moon? How can we guarantee an electronic, efficient, reliable, secure, constant, traceable, yet completely anonymous way of digitally settling Financial transactions? The Future model of all economic structures are peer-to-peer. It is the dawn of, and Rise of, the new shared economy. A shared Financial experience means having an open Ledger Financial system. One possible answer, let me rephrase that, our only reasonable answer, is Bitcoin. It is, and has been, tried and tested- it is digital, secure, based on an Open Financial Ledger, completely Anonymous on the blockchain, and is currently staking its claim in the Futures Market where it is proving it hang with the sharks of Wall Street. If we anticipate the future trajectory of humanity to be related to information technology, and the now coming of The Internet of Things as well as peer-to-peer technology, it then becomes inevitable that we upload our value to the internet/IoTs. Our entire Financial infrastructure, as well as our way of transacting, mainly occurs where most of our information is shared- this is on the internet. This is digital. Therefore, it is inevitable that we will turn to a digital currency that is secure and can be transacted with anonymously yet easily tracked and traced. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency allow for just that. Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin especially, will be used to store the world's entire value, look to bitcoin to house the world's entire worth. We must start somewhere. We must begin to trust Bitcoin with a larger social responsibility. We must begin the process of entrusting Bitcoin with our future financial well-being. Bitcoin is more than currency, it is intelligent. We must approve this ETF to open the first portal of massive physical wealth transfer into a digital upload and store. Wall Street must provide and sustain a Bitcoin ETF if it is to expect continued recognition as the Premier Financial industry in the world. The United States must lead the World in financial innovation. Let the New York Stock Exchange be the first to introduce a Bitcoin ETF and let it be now. After all, New York was also the first to promote a Bitlicense. We must not fall behind. After all, was it not George Washington himself who established a centralized financial system in this country (granted, we acknowledge Alexander Hamilton's prolific and persuasive role and genius). I think we are ready for a centralized One World Currency. Sincerely, Mohammad Zakaria Majeed, M.D.
