The United States needs a strong Volcker Rule. Big banks should never be able to expose consumers and taxpayers to risky proprietary trades. Banks that do this should be put out of business, but I'll settle for automatic stiff fines and additional oversight.

Any exemption that would expose you, or me, or the taxpayers of the U.S. to bank risk is unacceptable.
