I urge your active endorsement of the Volcker Rule. It is a much needed curb on big banks' propensity to expose consumers and taxpayers to risky proprietary trades. Without such a rule they will gamble for big profits with taxpayers footing the bill if they fail. We can hardly survive another economic collapse at their hands.
