If stocks must go down- so be it, however it is irresponsible for the SEC to allow the markets to trade without some very important structural rules. The first is decimalization and the second is the abolishment of the uptick rule. Because of huge computer trading programs these two are very much related and one is need for the other to work and vice versa. In order help restore some rationality both of these problems need to be resolved. The uptick rule needs to be reinstated and we need to go back to 1/8th or nickels. The lack of these rules only benefit large institutions and create increased volatility which is bad for all who are invested in the markets. Please make these changes ASAP. Thank You
