-I am a retired airline employee living on whats left of his pension after the airlines bankruptcy. I have utilized mortgage REIT'S as one of the core blocks of my investment portfolio. It is one of the few remaining high dividend paying investments left to the small investor.
Any action by the SEC to change the tax structure of mortgage REIT'S will be very detrimental to thousands of retirees/investors.
Please do not take any action changing the mortgage REIT tax structure.
