February 28, 2023 Why are brokers able to make money off investors trades? If brokers need to make money, they should charge a fee for executing orders. Household investors should know exactly what they are getting when they press the buy button. If they don't know the price or associated fees, how are they supposed to know their order is executed at the price that they wanted to purchase it?
