February 24, 2023 As a household investor in the heart of the Midwest with a career in Nursing, Im about as far removed from the financial and stock world as I can be. So are my friends and colleagues. Most of us are late 20s and early 30s. The two things we have in common are 1: Wed all like to retire one day. 2: we have lost faith in the ability of the stock market as even a viable complementary tool to help us achieve that goal, much less the main strategy. As soon as our employer matched IRAs are vested we cash it out, take the tax hit, and invest in a trustworthy asset. One with transparency. These rules are the first step in winning back the next gens long term market trust.
