February 24, 2023 As a long time household investor, I thoroughly support this proposal. PFOF is NOT in aid of us, it is made to attract us into risky trades with minimal barriers to entry. It is used to skim money off the top of all our trades, and to front run those same trades. I have spent the last 3 years heavily researching and understanding our markets in order to secure my retirement and my family's financial security and the more I learn, the more I feel it is totally slanted against the household investor. The more I don't feel 'safe' using any of our current financial vehicles to secure my future. The only way to to 'win' in this market is to be on the same side as the institutions running the show with things like PFOF. We want major change, and we will not stop making our voices heard until it arrives.
