December 27, 2022 PFOF has become a plague upon our markets and general price discovery. This practice needs to be outlawed like it is in other more civilized western societies. Dark pool abuse by market makers has gone unchecked for too long. Market makers who also have Hedge funds inherently have a conflict of interest and that shouldnt be allowed. Retail trades should never be allowed to be routed through dark pools. I hope yall actually are trying to save the legitimacy of or markets and this isnt just another dog and pony show but I have my doubts. Prove me wrong please, for the love of all that is good and right in the world.
