I support reform to best execution. Market makers are abusing their privileges and are hurting retail by profiting off of retail's transactions, this is done both by an abuse of pay for order flow, and by controlling the speed of executing transactions for retail so pennies can be skimmed off the trade and taken as profit by the market maker. I support Dave Lauer, he has articulated well the issues with particularly Citadel in the way that they have rigged best execution against retail traders. This and more reform are needed immediately.
