December 26, 2022 I support this proposal because I agree that the SEC, not just FINRA, needs a best execution rule. I do not believe that Self-Regulatory Organizations like FINRA can be trusted to be objective in their protection of retail investors. This rule is an important step that the SEC can take to follow its mission of providing (and at the moment restoring) the confidence of Americans in our markets.
