The proposed rule change that has been brought to vote gives me hope for our great stock market. The system is clearly flawed, as is made obvious by the amount of off the books trading that takes place by investing firms.
I believe a stocks price should truly reflect a companys values, performance, and outlook. With our system currently, millions of dark pool transactions are able to determine the price for any given stock.
Your job is a difficult job and your work is cut out for you but you are attacking the right issues and you have the support of this investor. Please dont let citadel and friends bully you away from doing the right thing.
