December 21, 2022 I wonder if any of the alleged retail investors opposing pfof would like to switch back to commissions that cost dollars to save mere pennies (or a fraction of a penny) in a trade. Conpanies like Robinhood have opened up investing to a whole new class of people. I wish they had existed when I was younger. Why the SEC wants to put them out of business is beyond me, unless they don't want more people investing and want them dependent on the government instead.
