I am not in favor of this proposal, and frankly, it seems extremely un-American. I used to think the stars and stripes on our flag meant something, but lately, that doesn't seem to be the case. I mean, in what world do we need to outlaw directly or indirectly taking any action to coerce, manipulate, mislead, or fraudulently influence anyone? I thought this was a free country?! I should be able to mislead anyone I wish without the fear of the GOVERNMENT coming down on me and my kin. What is this, Turkey? Requiring businesses, of any size, that meet a certain threshold to promptly file with the Commission a schedule disclosing certain information related to its security-based swap position is an absurdity. Since when do we require reporting for positions? What's next a license to make toast in my toaster? This would require these businesses to go through the painstaking process of keeping track of what they do instead of simply writing down what they remember. Sounds like communism to me, buddy.
