October 31, 2022 Need more transparancy in security lending and every holder has a right to know if the shares are lent, be in ira account or margin account or in any other type of account. Lent shares should not be used to close FTDs or any other such obligations as there is a high probablity of misuse by using the same set of shares multiple times in multiple transactions. It should not be possible to lend the same share multiple times either.
