October 31, 2022 Swaps data should be released as often as technologically possible prefferably to the second. Any information regarding positions held, traded, or sold, should be available to everyone no questions asked. Hiding information is only a good thing when an entity wants to hide the truth and take advantage others. Large swap positions directly affect the positions held by retail and they have no other way to know if they are being taken advantage of unless they have the ability to look over public data. They don't have the money to pay for expensive data feeds, they don't have partnerships with data brokers, and they don't have the time or employees to do much of the work big hedge funds and corporations do every day. Any information that is hidden from retail should be considered illegal and fraudulent.
